JSW Steel is planing to invest Rs 50,000 crore for setting up a 10 million tonne a year steel plant in Odisha.
On Friday, the Chairman Sajjan Jindal has revealed the plan after meeting Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during an investors’ meet in Bengaluru.
Jindal has said that the company would be first setting up a slurry pipeline with an initial investment of Rs 1,200-1,500 crore. The plans included a 500 MW solar plant, a thermal power plant and a coal mining processing facility.
