The second largest software services firm of India, Infosys has reported a 4.9 percent increase in its consolidated profit at Rs 3,030 crore for the April-June quarter.
The company saw its revenue surging to 12.4 percent to Rs 14, 354 crore in the quarter ending June.
In the previous quarter the company had reported a net profit of Rs 3,091 crore.
The CEO Vishal Sikka said in a statement that,”I am very pleased with our performance in the first quarter. Our efforts in redesigning our clients’ experience and our widespread adoption of innovation, both in grassroots and breakthroughs, are starting to bear fruit in large deal wins and in the growth of large clients”.
“While we are still early in our journey to become the leading next-generation services company, this gives us good momentum for the rest of the year.”
