Infosys, the second largest software services firm of India has reported a 16.2 percent increase in the consolidated net profit to Rs 3,597 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
The company said in a BSE filing that it had posted a net profit of Rs 3,097 crore in January-March of 2014-15.
It further added that the revenue of firm increased 23.4 percent to Rs 16,550 crore for the March quarter as compared to Rs 13,411 crore of the same quarter of 2014-15.
Infosys’s net profit, on a sequential basis rose 3.8 percent from Rs 3,465 crore in the October-December quarter whereas revenue was up 4.1 percent from Rs 15, 902 crore during the same period.
