Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) will be increasing car prices across all models, excluding the sports utility vehicle Creta by up to Rs 30,000 from August in view of rising input costs.
HMIL said in a statement, the price increase would come into effect from August 1.
Rakesh Srivastava, HMIL Senior Vice President sales and marketing said, the hike has been necessitated by increase of input costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are constrained to consider the price rise in these challenging market environment.
