Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has reported a 14.2% YoY increase in net profit to Rs.1,351 crore, for the quarter end March 31,2018.
The firm had posted a profit of Rs.1,183 crore in the year ago period. Volume growth for the third quarter came in at 11%. Revenue from operations for the quarter came in at Rs.9,097 crore, as against Rs.8,906 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 18.5% YoY to Rs.2,048 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded 240 basis points to 22.5%. Furthermore, the company has declared a final dividend of Rs.12 per share.
