Hero MotoCorp, is planning to come out with separate retail network for selling its premium products. At present, it is selling all its products under the same roof with over 6,000 dealerships in India.
Pawan Munjal, Hero MotoCorp Chairman MD and CEO stated, “As we go forward, we will have more products in the premium segment with higher engine capacity. Clearly a customer for 100 cc is very different from a customer for premium bike.”
Further he said, “So we considering a retail strategy with which we will be able to service that kind of (premium) customers.”
Hero MotoCorp this fiscal, is planning to launch half a dozen of new products, and the premium products will be a part of it.
