Indian automobile manufacturer Eicher Motors registered their highest quarterly profits in at least a decade. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 576.2 crore, a 25.36% hike as compared to of Q1 FY18.
Eicher also posted their highest ever total revenue from operation of Rs. 2548 crore in the quarter under review against Rs. 2255 crore of a year ago. Their EBITDA also managed to be their highest, Rs. 810 crore in the Q1 FY19.
Eicher Motors is the parent company of premium motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield, which sold 2,25,268 units , a 23% increase in sales volume as compared to 1,83,731 units in the previous year same quarterly period.
Eicher Motors stock prices went up by 4% during the Friday trading session after the quarterly financial report published.
