Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has received USD 434 million funding from multilateral agencies.
As per Saurabh Kumar, EESL MD, the funding received will be utilized by EESL to expand its sphere. At present, the company is working for implementation of e-vehicle and LED bulb projects.
The company, through this funding plans to commercialize untapped segments of the energy efficiency market and bring them to the main area.
Moreover, it has also associated with Global Environment Facility (GEF), an international body of 183 countries, private firms and institutions.
