Dena Bank is going to provide loans to a Maharashtra based women centric development body for financing various self help groups (SHGs).
A memorandum of understanding has been signed by the bank with Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) for financing needs of women SHGs.
According to the MoU, MAVIM will be coordinating with Dena Bank and community managed resource centres (CMRCs) and act as a business facilitator.
The bank has said in a release that “Initially, Dena Bank will implement the scheme in Nashik, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Satara, Pune, Sangali, Ahmednagar Parbhani and Jalna district of maharashtra on pilot basis.”
