Datamatics Global Services has acquired BPO firm in Philippines.

In its regulatory filings the company stated, “Datamatics Global Services Corp, the step down subsidiary of the company, has acquired 75% stake in RJ Globus Solutions Inc, a voice based BPO company headquartered in Manila, Philippines.”

The remaining 25% stake will be acquired in 2019 and 2020, based on the financial performance of the company. The company has spent USD 50,625 for the acquisition of 75% stake (or 1,875 shares). It will also inject USD 15,54,375 for payment of certain liabilities as per the definitive agreements.

The objective behind the acquisition is to strengthen the company’s BPO offerings and to expand its market presence. Further post acquisition, RJ Globus will be the stepdown subsidiary of the company.
