Dabur which is a leading Ayurvedic FMCG firm has partnered with DRDO for promoting sustainable cultivation on high-altitude medicinal plants in Ladakh.
An agreement has been signed by Dabur India and DRDO’s unit Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR), Leh, under that both organisations will educate farmers and help enhance livelihood opportunities in the cold desert area.
Bhuvanesh Kumar, DIHAR Director has said that “The first step towards the goal of implementing conservation & environmental development benefits in Leh-Ladakh will be a baseline survey of the area for cultivation of highly endangered medicinal plants species.
