CCI, the fair trade regulator has provided its approval to the proposed acquisition of Jindal Steel and Power’s 24 MW wind power generation business in Maharashtra by Parjanya Wind Power.
A business transfer agreement has been inked for this transaction in October.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has cleared the deal.
As per the deal, Parjanya, a wholly owned subsidiary of India Infrastructure Fund 11, would be acquiring the 24 MW wind power generation business at Satara, Maharashtra from Jindal Steel and Power.
