CCI approves $37 billion Avago Tech’s acquisition of Broadcom

The Competition Commission of India has provided its approval to the USD 37 billion acquisition of Broadcom Corporation by chipmaker Avago Technologies Ltd.

The fair trade regulator, Competition Commission of India said in a tweet that “CCI approves acquisition of Broadcom Corporation by Avago Technologies Limited.”

Avago, which was incorporated in Singapore, is a designer, developer and global supplier of a range of analog semiconductor devices.
