Bharti Airtel has announced an investment of Rs 60,000 crore as a part of ‘Project Leap’ over the next three years.
The company as part of Project Leap, will be making investments in the upgradation and sophistication of the company’s pan India network.
Gopal Vittal, MD and CEO of India and South Asia said that ” Project Leap is a 10-point programme which will transform Airtel’s network.”
He further said that the company would fund most of its investments through cash accruals and most of this investment will exclude payment for spectrum and he also clarified that the total sum was mostly for capex and airwaves.
