On Wednesday, Bharti Airtel has announced its association with the Madhya Pradesh government for one of its initiatives of Digital India Week.
The company in a statement said, as part of this, the company rolled out ‘E-Shakti’, a scheme to build Internet awareness and literacy among women in Madhya Pradesh.
Vir Inder Nath, Bharti Airtel CEO for MP and Chhattisgarh said, “Internet has the potential to transform society into a strong, prosperous & progressive ecosystem. The increased adoption of Internet among women of Madhya Pradesh would help bridge the digital divide”.
