Bank of Baroda has posted a net loss of Rs.3,102.34 crore, for the quarter ended March 31,2018.
The bank in the corresponding quarter last year, had posted a net profit of Rs.155 crore. Provisions for NPA for the quarter rose by 190% YoY to Rs.7,052.53 crore, in the quarter under review.
Net interest margin declined to 2.61% in Q4 from 2.97% in December quarter and 2.50% as on March end 2017. Net interest income increased 12% to Rs.4,002.26 crore, from Rs.3,582 crore. Further, overall provisions rose 154% YoY to Rs.6,672.38 crore.
