Bajaj Auto has unleashed two new KTM model into the Indian motorcycle market. First, Bajaj Auto has launched the 125 Duke into the India market with a price tag of Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the most affordable street naked currently being offered in the Indian bike market.
The Bajaj-owned bike maker KTM has also introduced KTM Duke 200 ABS (anti-lock braking system) version into their arsenal marking it with the price tag of Rs. 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The anti-lock brakes of the newly introduced KTM 200 Duke ABS are sourced from Bosch.
The non-ABS variant of the KTM 200 Duke priced at Rs. 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) will still continue to be offered for now. However, the government has made it mandatory for all two-wheelers above the 125 cc displacement to come with ABS as a standard offering, under the ABS law.
Thus the departure of the non-ABS version of KTM Duke 200 is soon expected, as the new law will be applicable from April 1, 2019, onwards. Bajaj Auto has also updated a tease of its new upcoming bike KTM Duke 250 on KTM India official website.
