Ashok Leyland which is India’s second largest commercial vehicle maker, has reported lower sales growth in July.
It has said that during the month, the total sales has declined 5 percent year-on-year to 10,492 vehicles impacted by MHCV segment which is a major contributor to sales.
The sale of medium & heavy commercial vehicle has declined 7 percent to 8,182 units whereas light commercial vehicle sales grew by 4 percent to 2,310 units compared with previous year.
