Amazon India has been expanding its offline presence in the country. The e-tailer has partnered with Vodafone India which is the second largest telecom operator by customers of the country for providing a touch and feel experience of smartphones like One-Plus 3, that sell exclusively on the platform.
Vodafone and Amazon India have started pilots of this service in Bengaluru, across 40 stores owned by the telecom major.
The partnership with Vodafone follows the expansion of Amazon’s assisted shopping programme, called Udaan, to over 1,000 outlets in tier II and III cities across the country.
