Adani Power has posted around two fold rise in the net loss at Rs 453.85 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2017.
It had posted a net loss of Rs 232.63 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year.
The company’s total income has been increased by 4.25 percent year-on-year to Rs 5648.08 crore in Q1FY18 as compared to 5417.82 crore in Q1FY17.
During the first quarter of FY18, the average Plant Load Factor (PLF) achieved has been 63 percent which is lower against 66 percent of Q1FY17.
The drop has been on account of customer back down as well as maintenance related shutdowns.
