Blue Star, the air-conditioner maker is planning to invest Rs 215 crore in the next 3-4 years for increasing its overall production capacity to a million units per year.
The company has said in a statement that it is in the process of setting up two major facilities, that would redesign and augment its manufacturing footprint.
The new units at Samba in Jammu and Sri city in Andhra Pradesh will be primarily manufacturing room ACs, deep freezers and water coolers.
