Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has received orders to set up 80 mw solar photovoltatic power plants on engineering, procurement and construction basis.
Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd (NLC) and Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) have placed the orders valued at Rs 437 crore.
The solar photovoltaic plants are going to be set up at Neyveli, Tamilnadu (65 mw), for NLC, and at the premises of Ordnance Factory Medak, Telangana (15 mw), for BEL.
BHEL’s solar portfolio with these orders, stands at 300 mw.
