Shares of NBCC Ltd. surged by almost 8% to touch a day’s high of Rs 188.80 on 29 July after the company announced its subsidiary secured a Rs 411.45 crore contract to build a government medical college and hospital in Maharashtra.

Today, the company declared that a project commissioned by the Government of Maharashtra was awarded to its subsidiary, HSCC Limited. This would be for a new government medical college and hospital in Buldhana and is priced at Rs 411.45 crore. It was commissioned by the Medical Education and Ayush Department of Maharashtra.

It involves developing a medical college for 100 students and a 430-bed hospital in Buldhana. This initiative aims to improve healthcare infrastructure and medical education in the region. The award highlights HSCC’s expertise in constructing and managing healthcare and educational facilities.

On 4th July, the firm announced an MoU with NIT Patna to construct and develop an incubation centre at the institute. Last month, NBCC secured a Rs 100 crore project from REC Ltd., which involves NBCC acting as the project management consultant for construction and renovation work.

The project is for the REC Institute of Power Management & Training building in Shivarampally, Hyderabad. REC Ltd. is overseeing the project.

Furthermore, the company secured a Rs 70 crore order from Grid Controller of India Ltd. and contracts totalling over Rs 1,500 crore in June 2024. It has also been awarded multiple significant projects, flaunting its strong order inflow and expertise in various sectors.

At 3:30 PM, the shares of NBCC Ltd. closed 7.33% higher at Rs 187.40 on BSE.
