Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd. climbed 3% on wholly-owned subsidiary HSCC (India) Limited, being awarded a work order worth Rs 92 crore.
The Order was given by the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education And Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. The order encompasses comprehensive planning, designing, monitoring, and supervision of the construction of an extension block for the advanced eye centre and DDTC in front of the drug de-addiction centre at PGIMER Chandigarh.
NBCC (India) Ltd. has obtained a 100% stake in its subsidiary – HSCC (India) Ltd., formerly known as Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation Limited. The firm specialises in health sector work, and the acquisition is aimed at securing business synergies.
NBCC (India) is a leading company that operates in three major segments, including project management consultancy, real estate, and engineering procurement & construction. The company recently sold 2.05 lakh square feet of commercial space in the World Trade Centre in Delhi for approximately Rs 828 crore.
In the third quarter of the financial year 2024, NBCC (India) achieved a consolidated net profit increase of 59% to Rs 113.56 crore, with a 13.7% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 2,405.51 crore over Q3 FY23.
