NBCC Ltd, on 18 December, announced securing an order from State-owned steel manufacturer SAIL and an institute in Jammu and Kashmir for construction-related works worth Rs 180 crore.
In its regulatory filing, the company said it had received an order from SAIL’s Durgapur Steel Plant for a total consideration of Rs 150 crore. The order is for the construction and renovation of the Durgapur steel plant for a period of three years.
The company has also received another order from Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute For Persons With Physical Disabilities for constructing the permanent building of the Composite Regional Centre at Samba, in the Union Territory of J&K, for a total consideration of Rs 29.7 crore. However, the completion period of this order is yet to be decided.
Last week, the company announced that its commercial inventory of 2.23 lakh square feet had been sold for a total consideration of Rs 905.01 crore at the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi, in an e-auction on 14 December.
Of the inventory sold, 0.43 lakh square feet area has been sold to private entities for a total value of Rs 191.84 crore.
The company has sold a commercial inventory of 23.92 lakh square feet for a total sale value of Rs 9,656.62 crore via open e-auction.
NBCC is a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs.
