Wify, a startup that helps with home furnishing installation, has secured Rs 25 crore (USD 3 million) in a ‘pre-Series-A’ funding round, from Mount Judi Ventures and Capria Ventures. Other investors, including Blume Founders Fund, also participated in the funding round with some other undisclosed investors.
The Mumbai-based company had previously raised USD 2 million in its last seed round in July 2022.
The new funds will be used to expand services, enter new categories, and enhance technology, according to Wify’s press release.
Founded in 2019 by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goyal, Wify connects modern home brands with skilled technicians through its SaaS platform. The platform supports order management, project management, and real-time tracking for both brands and consumers.
Wify plans to use generative AI for training and onboarding technicians and to improve customer service. Its training and apprenticeship engine ensures a pool of skilled technicians will be available for service requests.
With over 3,000 technicians on its platform, Wify operates in 100 cities in India and partners with over 100 local and global brands including IKEA, Amazon, Godrej, and Hettich.
In the B2C space, Wify competes with Urban Company, and in the B2B space, it competes with regional players such as Mechanic2Home and Easyfix.
