Mphasis has appointed former Cognizant executive Mike Meyer as the head of strategic sales. He will lead teams to close large and important deals.
Mike Meyer will lead strategic deals at Mphasis, collaborating with various business units to drive growth and effectiveness. He will manage pipeline development and the full sales cycle to secure high-value contracts.
Mphasis CEO Nitin Rakesh welcomed Meyer, emphasising his experience in winning strategic deals to help drive the company’s growth priorities.
Meyer has over 25 years of experience, with 22 years at Cognizant, where he led strategic engagements and helped grow the practice into a multi-billion-dollar contributor.
Before joining Mphasis, Meyer worked for two years at Capto Consulting, where he led service offerings focused on creating go-to-market strategies, enhancing large deal capabilities, implementing industry best practices, and transforming sales teams to support the growth of developing enterprises.
Meyer expressed confidence in his new role at Mphasis, stating that the efforts will lead to growth through transformational deals aligned with the client’s business objectives.
For the September quarter of FY25, Mphasis posted a 4.6% rise in net profit to Rs 423 crore, up from Rs 404 crore in the previous quarter, marking an 8% increase year-over-year (YoY). Revenue grew by 3.3% sequentially and 7.9% YoY to Rs 3,536 crore.
The company secured a total contract value (TCV) of $207 million, including three large deals.
