On Thursday, Mother Dairy has announced that it will set up a 25,000 tonnes per year integrated food and vegetable processing plant in Ranchi with an estimated investment of Rs 75 crore.
Mother Dairy has said in a statement that “The total capital outlay for this project is estimated to be Rs 75.65 crore and the government subsidy as per Jharkhand industrial policy will be applied for it and our assessment is about Rs 14-15 crore.”
It further said that “the first phase of the project (freezing line) is likely to be operational by December whereas the pulp and concentrate processing line will be operational a year later.”
