Medplus Health Services Falls as Drug License of Subsidiary Gets Suspended

The company’s subsidiary receiving a suspension order.

Shares of Medplus Health Services were trading in the red and 1% lower on 29 December after the company’s subsidiary received a drug licence suspension order.

In its regulatory filing, the company said that one of the subsidiaries of the company has received orders from the Assistant Director & Drug Sales Licensing Authority and drug control authorities from various locations.

The company has received a suspension order for seven days from the date of the issue of the order for its stores located at Kongareddy Palli, Chittoor, District, Andhra Pradesh.

The stores located at Horamavu Main Road, Bangalore, have received a suspension of three days from the Bangalore Circle-5, Karnataka, and have also received a suspension for 3 days for stores located at HBR Layout – 2, Bangalore.

The company received the order on 26 December for violating various conditions of the licence issued to provisions of Section 65 / Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.

At 2:08 pm, the shares of Medplus Health Services were trading 0.13% higher at Rs 743.10 on NSE.
