Max Healthcare (MHC) is going to acquire 51 percent stake in Saket City Hospital in New Delhi from BK Modi group firm for an undisclosed amount.
According to a statement by Max Healthcare, MHC will acquire the stake from Smart Health City Pte Ltd, the Singapore based company BK Modi Group company that manages and operates the Delhi based SCH.
It further added that the transaction is subject to confirmatory diligence, requisite regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
Rahul Khosla, MHC Chairman said that “Max Healthcare is confident that this acquisition will provide significant opportunities through the realisation of a clear vision that includes setting up a world class centre dedicated to oncology, development of high end neurosciences capabilities.”
