The largest car maker of Country, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has posted an increase of 15.9 percent in the total sales in March at 1,29,345 units as against 1,11,555 units in the same month last year.
The domestic sales of company increased 14.6 percent during the month to 1,18,895 units compared to 1,03,719 units of March 2015.
MSI has said in a statement that sales of mini segment cars, including, Alto and WagonR, however declined 8.7 percent to 36,678 units from 40,159 units in the year-ago month.
Company’s compact segment that comprises Swift, Estilo, Ritz, Dzire and Baleno increased 20.9 percent to 46,786 units in March this year in comparison with 38,710 units of same duration last year.
