GMR Airport which is a subsidiary of GMR infrastructure has acquired 10 per cent additional stake from Malaysia Airports (Mauritius) Private Limited, the consideration amount is USD 80 million and raised its stake to 64 percent in Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL).
The Malaysian firm has exited the venture by divesting its entire 10 percent holding to GMR Airports Limited (GAL).
“Pursuant to the definitive agreement executed on March 24, 2015 and completion of all conditions precedent, GMR Airports Limited (GAL) has acquired 24,50,00,000 shares of face value of Rs 10 each, representing 10 percent equity stake in DIAL from Malaysia Airports (Mauritius) Private Limited (MAMPL) for a revised consideration of USD 80 million in line with the terms of the definitive agreements,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
