An official has said that the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to allot 10 acres land to smartphone manufacturer Micromax at Pithampur industrial area in neighbouring Dhar district.
According to him, Micromax had been allotted 16 acre of land at IT Park situated in Barwai, Bhopal in October 2015. As there is a change in the company’s plan, following to that the state government instead has decided to allot 10 acre land at Pithampur industrial area.
He further said that Micromax has to deposit Rs 2.5 crore with the government for the purpose.
