Lupin has received approval from the US health regulator, for Tydemy drug that is used to prevent pregnancy.
The company has received final approval for its Tydemy (Drospirenone, Ethinyl Estradiol and Levomefolate Calcium tablets) from the US Food and Drug Administration to market a generic version of Safyral tablets of Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Further, the drug is suggested to be used by women to prevent pregnancy and to increase folate levels in women who uses oral contraceptive.
