Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Tuesday that its Heavy Engineering (HE) subsidiary has won ‘significant’ orders in the domestic and international markets.
In an exchange filing, the construction and engineering giant said that L&T Heavy Engineering’s Modification, Revamp and Upgrade (MRU) business segment bagged a major order for a debottlenecking project from an oil and gas customer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
L&T HE has secured orders for several critical equipment in the Process Plant Equipment overseas market, including 2 EO Reactors from a leading global chemical company in Thailand, Cr-Mo-V Reactors for an oil project in KSA, Large Stainless-Steel Column for an NGL project in Australia and Heat Exchanger from a leading industry player in the USA.
On the domestic front, L&T HE bagged orders to manufacture a VGO reactor, a critical CrMo-V reactor, and proprietary designed high-pressure heat exchangers for a refinery project.
The MRU business has also won orders for a DCU Revamp Project from a refinery in the domestic market, a Coke Drum critical repair project from the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) Gujarat Refinery and a Carbamate Condenser from RCF Mumbai for their Urea Plant.
Although L&T did not disclose the value of the contracts, as per its classification, orders in the range of ₹1,000 to ₹2,500 crore are termed ‘significant’.
