Larsen and Toubro Technology Services (LTTS), on 7 November, announced its plan to collaborate with Google Cloud to harness the power of its generative AI technology and tools to develop its LTTS Developer Experience Platform, known as DevX.
Through this collaboration, the company aims to facilitate the creation of an expansive API (Application Programming Interface) catalogue and experience that will redefine how customers will interact with LTTS’ digital offerings.
In its filing, the company said that both the organisations will work in collaboration to shape LTTS’ DevX framework that will seamlessly integrate Google Cloud’s generative AI components into DevX’s overall architecture.
The product will be released in two phases; in the first phase, LTTS will combine its expertise with Google Cloud towards the development of DevX with a focus on select use-cases, which will include the automation of the process of generating test cases from required documents thus streamlining the development workflow. It will then expedite the unit test case generation process by integrating generative AI into the automating code and development code generation. Through this, the company aims to significantly reduce manual efforts and boost development efficiency.
In the second phase, Google Cloud and LTTS will work towards creating a custom generative AI that will be seamlessly integrated into the overarching LTTS DevX ecosystem. This will empower developers with even more sophisticated AI-driven capabilities.
In response to the announcement, L&T Technology Services’ Chief Operating Officer and board member Abhishek Sinha expressed his excitement about working with Google Cloud.
He added, “We are excited to join forces with Google Cloud to unlock new dimensions of AI-led innovation. This partnership not only propels us closer to our gen AI goals but also cements our commitment to revolutionising engineering and digital solutions for the benefit of multiple industries.”
