On August 29, L&T Technology Services Limited said it had won a five-year, multi-million-dollar deal for the company’s range of hybrid vehicles from European luxury carmaker BMW Group. The offered infotainment console kit offers high-end engineering services.

Our transportation engineering services enable leading OEMs to build innovative and sustainable vehicles and use new-age digital technologies to reduce time-to-market, said Abhishek Sinha, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of L&T Technology Services.

The company was awarded a major contract due to LTTS’s extensive domain knowledge, engineering leadership in transportation technology, and proven ability to provide outstanding opportunities to expand existing projects and initiate new ones. Engineers from the LTTS team will provide software development and integration services, infotainment system validation and defect management.

For the range of hybrid electric vehicles and infotainment console kits offered by the BMW Group, LTTS has an existing nearshore centre providing engineering and R&D services. Due to its proximity to the BMW Group campus, LTTS engineers will be able to study multiple solutions and provide assistance in real-time.
