Export orders worth USD 71.3 million (nearly Rs 480 crore) has been received by the engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) from Motsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Ltd through its two joint ventures (JV) firms.
The company has said in a BSE filing that “Larsen & Toubro (L&T) through its joint venture companies L&T-MHPS Boilers Private Ltd (LMB) and L&T-MHPS Turbine Generators Private Ltd (LMTG) has secured export orders worth USD 71.3 million from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Limited (MHPS).”
“LMB contract includes supply of pressure parts for 2 x 1000 MW power plant in Indonesia and contains furnace header, panel, coils and piping,” it said.
It further said that this order takes LMTG’s tally of export orders to 22 units, out of which 11 are being executed, thus increasing its global footprint of sub-critical to ultra supercrtitical steam turbines and components to the Americas, Middle-East and the Far-East.
