Larsen and Toubro announced on 18 June that its building and factory construction vertical had secured multiple ‘significant’ orders in India.
The orders have been classified as ‘Significant’, which falls under the category of Rs 1,000-2,000 crore.
In its regulatory filing, the company said it has received an order for constructing a super speciality hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology. The scope of the project involves civil structures, finishes, facades, MEP services, interiors, paramedical work, and external development, including landscaping and covering a total built-up area of 1.1 million square feet.
Moreover, the company has also secured an order to construct an office space in Mumbai that will have a built-up area of approximately 1.3 million square feet. The project also includes civil and composite steel structure work and is expected to be completed in 20 months.
Earlier last week, the company announced securing a ‘large’ offshore order from ONGC for the Daman Upside Development Project – Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP) off India’s West coast, valued between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.
The scope of the project includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of four wellhead platforms, a 140-km pipeline, and associated topside modifications at the Tapti Daman block.
