On Wednesday, the engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has reported a 24.50 percent YoY increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 2,454 crore for the March quarter.
During the corresponding quarter of last year, the company had reported a PAT of Rs 1,971 crore.
In March quarter, company’s sales jumped 17 percent YoY to Rs 32,810 crore against Rs 28,023 crore of the year ago quarter.
In the fourth quarter, margins expanded to 14.9 percent from 12.9 percent in the same quarter of last year.
A dividend of Rs 18.25 per share has been announced by the company.
