On Tuesday, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said that it has got orders worth Rs 1,960 crore across business segments.

Larsen & Toubro said in a BSE filing that the construction arm of company has secured these contracts in different businesses including water and effluent treatment projects.

According to the company, it has secured orders worth Rs 1,053 crore in water and effluent treatment division from the Water Resource Department of Odisha for engineering, procurement and construction of 34 lift irrigation schemes in various district.

The filing further said that “The major scope involves construction of 34 intake wells and delivery chambers, supply and laying of 400 km of ductile iron pipelines”.
