The KPI Green Energy advanced 3.89 per cent to 891 under the CPP segment after the company announced the new order of 5.40 MW under the wind-solar hybrid power project. On 21 September, the solar power producer comprised a 5.40 MW wind turbine and 4MWdc solar capacity from Surat-based Greenlab Diamond LLP, with a captive power producer segment in the company.

KPI Green Energy generates and sells solar power under the ‘Solarism’ brand name in India, which develops, operates, maintains, owns and builds solar power plants as an independent power producer and captive power producer.

Consolidated basis, the net profit of KPI Green Energy surged to Rs 22.23 crore in Q1FY23 as against Rs 7.99 crore in Q1FY22. Sales jumped to Rs 122.33 crore in the first quarter of FY23 from Rs 35.42 crore in FY22. Yearly, the stock has zoomed 175.08 per cent, while the benchmark Sensex has added 1.68 per cent in the same financial year.
