KP Energy has an order worth Rs 222 crore for developing wind energy projects for Aditya Birla Group. A BSE filing on Wednesday reported that the total value of the projects is Rs 2,220 million (Rs 222 crore). The said projects are scheduled to be commissioned in March 2023.
KP Energy has said that it has aligned with Aditya Birla Group for the wind power project development at the Fulsar and Bhungar Sites in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. These projects are developed under the Gujarat hybrid power policy 2018.
The filing has also said that the involved parties have executed definitive contracts for the project’s development with Aditya Birla Renewables Solar Limited and AB REL Solar Power Limited. Contracts for phase-wise development of the projects are to be executed soon.
KP Energy will provide the turnkey balance of plant solutions for the project. Turnkey solutions involve:
Picking a solar company which takes care of everything- from start to finish, including wind site locations.
Getting necessary approvals and development permits.
Electrical line network.
Wind data management.
Windfarm development.
It also includes complete power evacuation capacity from the pooling substation to GETCO (Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation) substation.
