Kalyan Jewellers is aiming to unveil its online platform by Diwali, while it targets a 30 percent increase in its revenue this fiscal and entry into three overseas markets.
Ramesh Kalyanaraman, the Executive Director at Kalyan Jewellers has said that “We are targeting Rs.13,000 crore this year against the Rs.10,000 crore revenue generated in 2015-16.”
He further said that the company at present conducts online sales through Flipkart and has been planning to unveil its portal by Diwali.
According to him the company is planning to add 22 new showrooms to the present 100 retail outlets, of these 25 were outside south India and 21 outside India.
He said that “To our chain of stores in West Asia, we are planning to add stores in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Singapore.”
