Kalpataru Power Transmission said that it had received orders worth Rs 1,200 crore. “Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) and its international subsidiaries have received notifications of new orders/incentives of Rs 1,290 crore,” the company said in a statement.
Manish Mohnot, MD and CEO of KPTL, said in the statement: “We are delighted to have won new orders in our vertical business segment. Transmission and distribution (transmission and distribution) orders will help us strengthen our position in key transmission and distribution markets such as the Middle East and Latin America. Our order book is further strengthened by new orders from the Oil & Gas and Rail business.”
He said that as of FY23, KPTL’s total order book stood at around Rs 6,890 crore, a significant increase compared to the same period in the previous fiscal.
In addition, he said, the company has a strong L1 position and strong visibility across all its businesses, “which gives us the confidence to achieve our target growth going forward”.
KPTL is one of the largest specialist engineering and procurement companies engaged in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, railways and civil infrastructure. KPTL currently executes projects in more than 30 countries and operates in 67 countries worldwide.
