Kale Logistics Raises $30 Million to Automate Cargo Operation

The company was formed in 2009 by Rajesh Panicker, Amar More, and Vineet Malhotra.

Kale Logistics has secured $30 million in funding in a series B funding round led by the private equity firm Creaegis Advisors LLP.

The company said that this investment will fuel the company’s mission to develop and deploy a robust Cargo Community System that will transform global logistics beyond regional boundaries.

The company’s co-founders said, “We are thrilled to partner with Creaegis for our global expansion, leveraging their operational value add and SaaS experience. Together with our esteemed group of existing investors, we are well-positioned for the next phase of growth.”

This is the second funding, two years after the company announced a Series A investment of $5 million from Inflexor Ventures in 2021.

The company was formed in 2009 by Rajesh Panicker, Amar More, and Vineet Malhotra.

The company offers software solutions for the logistics industry, and the flagship product is Cargo Community Platform, which provides a single source of data to support operational flaws, facilitating paperless exchange of trade-related data and providing information to stakeholders.

The platform brings all stakeholders of the cargo value chain onto one single platform, thus eliminating communication errors.

Kale looks to reduce the complexities involved in cargo movement at airports and seaports by using its integrated platforms and ERP solutions for all stakeholders.

Prakash Parthasarathy, managing partner & CEO of Creaegis, added, “The global logistics industry is undergoing a rapid digital disruption with a need for intelligent automation and end-to-end visibility through all nodes. This transformation is led by smart and centralised technology platforms. Kale, with its category-defining Cargo Community Platforms and a suite of SaaS solutions, is leading this disruption by digitising and automating end-to-end cargo operations in airports and seaports.”

Kale Logistics has offices in India, the USA, the UAE, Kenya, and the Netherlands and engages with over 100 airports and sports worldwide in 35+ countries.
