JSW Techno Projects Management will acquire 49% stake in Odisha based iron ore pellet manufacturer Brahmani River Pellets (BRPL). It is estimated that the deal will value approx over Rs.1,000 crore.

BRPL makes iron ore pellets and it owns a 4 million tonne (mt) pellet plant, a 4.7 mt beneficiation plant and a 230 km slurry pipeline connecting the two.

Further, the company has signed a definitive agreement for acquiring the stake from Aryan Mining and Trading Corporation (AMTC) and the acquisition is subject to approval of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and other conditions given in the agreement.
