Jet Airways’ shareholders have provided their approval for JetLite merger with itself

Jet Airways has said that its shareholders’ has given their approval for the proposed merger of JetLite with itself.

In September last year, the board of Jet Airways had cleared the proposal for merging JetLite, the low-cost subsidiary with itself.

Jet Airways has said in a BSE filing that “… the equity shareholders of the company have approved the scheme of merger between JetLite (India) Ltd and Jet Airways (India) Ltd and their respective shareholders and creditors.”
