The demestic passenger vehicle sales for the month of January, has been increased 14.4 percent to 2,65,320 units from 2,31,917 units of the same month last year.
According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the domestic car sales were up 10.83 percent at 1,86,523 units as compared to 1,68,303 units of January last year.
The Motorcycle sales has been declined by 6.07 percent to 8,19,386 units during last month as compared to 8,72,323 units of previous year.
In January, the sales of two-wheelers has been declined 7.39 percent to 12,62,141 units as compared with 13,62,879 units in the year ago period.
