ITC Infotech said on Friday it would acquire part of Nasdaq-listed PTC’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation services business as part of the company’s plans to accelerate customers’ digital transformation. ITC Infotech said that the two partners announced the expansion of their 20-year-old alliance, signing an agreement to accelerate customers’ digital transformation initiatives, focusing on the adoption of PTC’s “Windchill” PLM software-as-a-service (SaaS).

Through this acquisition, the company will create a new business unit of ITC Infotech called DxP Services, combining the PLM professional services experts from both companies into a unified team dedicated to creating and jointly delivering a smooth transition to SaaS. However, the value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
